This Qt/C++ page is a Windows-only client for the BeltTearingServer TCP protocol. Control, configuration, and point-cloud data use the same tcpPort (default 5800) connection. JSON frames and 0x05 point-cloud binary frames are multiplexed on that connection.

The 5800 protocol uses:

##START# + 8 ASCII digits + JSON + #END

After connecting, the page automatically sends GET_PROTOCOL_INFO. It supports SET_REALTIME, full GET_CONFIG/SET_CONFIG parameter testing, point-cloud display through CloudView3D, CSV output, and optional CloudUtils laser-scan file output.

Build with the Windows MSVC Qt kit, for example:

qmake BeltTearingTcpProtocolTest.pro
nmake

Package the Qt runtime from the repository root:

GrabBagPrj\pkg_belttearingtcpprotocoltest.bat

The package is written to GrabBagPrj\buildwin\BeltTearingTcpProtocolTest.
